This is a response from Her Majesty's representative, The Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, recognising all the hard work done by our selfless hard-working pharmacy team and our amazing Local Health Hero Volunteers.
These are ordinary people doing some extraordinary things in so many ways on behalf of the community, including delivering over 75,000 medicines (as of 9th April 2021) since the first Lockdown so people safely stayed at home and kept the local infection rates down.
During this pandemic, some people made history, too many became the victims of history and all of us have been part of history. These guys helped shape history locally, for the better.
And it's only suitable their contribution is not just recognised by us or our website
